Rise of the Ocean Empire
Aquaman 3 (2025) continues the epic saga of Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa), the half-human, half-Atlantean hero, as he faces new and more complex challenges both under the sea and on land. Following the events of Aquaman (2018) and Aquaman 2 (2022), Arthur has cemented his role as king of Atlantis.

In Aquaman 3, the stakes are higher than ever. An ancient and powerful enemy from the deepest trenches of the ocean emerges, seeking to claim Atlantis and its vast power for themselves. This threat not only jeopardizes Arthur’s kingdom but also threatens the balance of power between the ocean and the surface world.

To make matters worse, Arthur must also deal with political intrigue from within Atlantis, as rival factions seek to overthrow his rule.
The film explores Arthur’s inner conflict as he grapples with his identity, his responsibilities as king, and his duty to protect Atlantis and his family, including his wife Mera (Amber Heard) and their son.
