Today we remember and celebrate the life of Chris Cornell — one of the greatest voices in rock history. Born on July 20, 1964, his voice wasn’t just powerful — it was otherworldly. A four-octave force of nature, full of soul, sorrow, fire, and beauty.

From the raw grit of Soundgarden, to the haunting depth of Temple of the Dog, to the polished introspection of Audioslave, and his deeply personal solo work — Cornell never stayed in one box. He pushed boundaries, fused genres, and turned pain into poetry. Every note he sang carried weight. Every lyric felt like it had lived a thousand lives.

Though he left us far too soon in 2017, his music continues to echo — in headphones, in hearts, and in the legacy of a generation forever shaped by his sound.
